Special Activities, Programs, and Dinners

Programs are set up to have fun in our tropical climate. The dinners, pool parties, beach parties, shows from Branson, Free Mexico Day Trips, golf, bowling, luncheons, and theme parties are great for meeting your neighbors. Winter Daily Activities calendar has all the weekly activities like bingo, potluck, cards, shuffleboard, Spanish Lessons, Computer Sessions, crafts, breakfasts, church, and more. Below are calendars of the up coming months' special events with descriptions and pictures. You will get a real idea of the quanity and quality of the programing. Some RVers make special trips to national entertainment locations costing hundreds of dollars and even then the programs are expensive. Here you can enjoy many of those programs for less than $5.00 each. The dinners have more food, better company, more fun, and you don't have to go out of the park plus you get a real value for your dollar.

We do have some nationally known entertainers. Our performers are mostly professional and who make a living entertaining. Many have their own shows at places like Branson or Nashville. The calendars below will give you an idea of the quality offered Rio guests.

The dinners and meals can range from a nice set down meal in our A/C center to delicious hamburgers and hotdogs at the beach. Live music at the dances, friends, snacks, and drinks make for fond memories of good times.

Some of the November calendar listings are routine weekly activities with definitions found under Weekly Activities. The Welcome Social or orientation nites alternate, normally Thursdays, between Rio and Paul's RV Parks. The Welcome Social evenings end with some sample local food for your enjoyments and to visit with fellow campers and your hosts.
