A suggested list of options is below to start discussion on meeting your needs for a good birding experience through our guide service. Deposits of one day for participants will secure your trip. The balance is due at departure.
Rio Grande Valley
The trips usually go over 100 miles per day to get a mix of habitat and birds to maximize your experience and number of birds. Visit sample Bird Trips to get an idea of what to expect. No two trips will be exactly alike. You can return on your own loaded with the knowledge of the locations from your guide to spend as much time as you wish.
One day birding for up to three including transportation and snacks is $200.00 for the party.
Bird Trips in the lower Rio Grande Valley

One day birding for four to five including transportation and snacks is $260.00 for the party.
Lodging and Birding Package for two at Rio RV Park is $210 up a night. The one-bedroom units are fully furnished, bathroom, living room, cable TV, phone, kitchenettes, and birds. See this unit and other choices of lodging on the Park Rentals page.
RV Space and Birding Package special is $215.00 a night for two with full RV connections including cable TV, and birds.
Tenting and Birding Package special is $210.00 a night for two including birds.

Mexico


The Mexico trip is easy and rewarding. We help you with your Mexican Visa and any currency exchange. Included in the price is a local Mexican Guide - when available, Lodging, Meals, and Transportation in a surbuban from Brownsville, Texas. I will be guiding also and help in any translation needs.

  • Trips can be designed for your individual needs and target birds.
  • Your small group can be flexable with a local guide who can determine if a location change will bring more desirable birds.
  • Photographers as a group will have a great experience. Look at the Bird Trips and pics. A February 2008 trip with only photographers had eight specie daily average with good images.

Dial-up
 site is for slow servers and phone line internet. Slow site will load in 15 seconds, but will have all the graphic in the back ground. This means printing will not have graphics. The graphic will take about six minutes to completely load.
All this for $150.00 per day per person double occupancy with four person minimum. Prices available for smaller and larger groups or individuals.

The local Mexican guide will help insure you get the most out of your trip. Alcoholic drinks are on your own. Lodging will be at least with air conditioning and hot water unless otherwise agreed too. Casa de Piedras in Gomez Farias, Hotel Mante in Cd Mante, and a hotel in El Naranjo were used in the past. Tipping the guide, lodging, and meals are on your own if you wish. General locations can include Cd. Victoria, El Cielo, Gomez Farias, Cd. Monte, El Salto, and El Naranjo. Other locations are available.
The daily cost will run $150 per person with four. ie: three nites and four days is $600.00.
